Corn Ke Pakode

भुट्टे के पकोड़े – Bhutte ke pakode. मकाई के पकोड़े
INGREDIENTS :
1) BREAD SLICE – 12 SMALL
2) CORN – 1
3) BESAN – 2 CUP
4) RICE FLOUR – 2 TBSP
5) SALT TO TASTE
6) GREEN CHUTNY
7) TOMATO CATCH UP
8) MILK – 1 CUP
9) OIL FOR FRY
10) RED CHILLY POWDER – 1/2 TSP
11) GINGER – SMALL
12) TURMERIC POWDER – 1/4 TSP
13) GREEN CHILLY – 1
14) OIL – 1 TBPS
15) JEERA – 1 TSP
16) ASAFEATIDA – 1 TSP
17) BAKING SODA – PINCH
18) CINAMON STICK – 1
19) CLOVE – 2

Method :

Put a non stick kadhai on gas with high flame. Add oil.

Add jeera. When jeera starts crackling, add ginger green chilly paste. Bring down gas to low flame. Add turmeric powder, red chilly powder. grated corn. Mix well.

Cook for 4-5 minutes. Add milk, salt , sugar. Mix well.

Cook till milk is burnt out. Add cinnamon stick. Mix well. Turn off gas. Add lemon juice. Miz well.

Take besan in a bowl. Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilly powder, carrom seeds, little water. Mix well to prepare batter with medium consistency.

Take bread slice on cutting board. Press glass edge on it to cut round shape. Prepare all breads with round shape.

Take round bread slice and apply tomato catch up. Take another slice and apply green chutney. Take stuffing and put on one slice. Put another slice on it and press little.

Prepare all pakode in same way.

Put a pan on gas with high flame. Add oil.

Add pinch of baking soda in batter and mix well.

When oil is hot, add stuffed pakode in batter to coat properly and add in hot oil for fry. Fry till they become golden brown in colour and crisp. Take them out in a plate.

Prepare all pakode in same way.

Serve with green chutney or tomato sauce and enjoy delicious taste.

When oil is hot, add pakode one by one.
