1)SEMOLINA -1/2 CUP
2) BESAN – 1/2 CUP
3) GREEN CHILLY -2
4) SALT TO TASTE
5) GARLIC – 6
6) GINGER -1 SMALL
7) JEERA – 1/2 TSP
8) TURMERIC POWDER -1/2 TSP
9) ASAFEATIDA -1/4 TSP
10) LEMON JUICE – 1 TBSP
11) CORIANDER LEAVES – 2 TBSP
12) WATER 1.5 CUP
13) OIL – 2 TBSP & FOR FRY
Take a big bowl and add semolina and besan. Add salt to taste and 1.5 cup of water. Mix well to make smooth batter. Keep it little thin.
Put a pan on gas with high flame. Add oil. When oil is hot, add jeera. When jeera crackling, add asafeatida. Bring down gas to low flame. Add green chilly, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder and mix well. Roast for 2 minutes. Add prepared batter and mix well. Keep stirring continuously so that no lumps are formed. When it become thick and lumpy , Add 1 tbsp of oil , coriander leaves and mix well. Turn off gas. Take out it in a plate and let it cool down.
After cool down, take small lump in hand and roll it to give cylinderical shape or shape of your choice. Put it in a plate . Prepare all rolls in same way.
Put a pan on gas with high flame and add oil. When oil is hot, add rolls one by one. Fry till they become golden brown in colour and cruncy. Take out in serving plate. Fry rest of rolls in same way.
Serve with green chutney, tomato sauce and enjoy yummy taste.
